Neil Lennon: 'Bolton Wanderers season is not over yet'

New Bolton Wanderers boss Neil Lennon believes that the club have enough time to turn their Championship season around.

New Bolton Wanderers manager Neil Lennon has insisted that the club have enough time to turn their season around.

The former Celtic boss begins work at the Macron Stadium today after succeeding Dougie Freedman, who left the Trotters "by mutual consent" earlier this month.

Bolton are currently bottom of the Championship table after picking up just five points from their opening 11 matches, but Lennon believes that all is not lost for the Lancashire club.

"The short term aim is to hit the ground running, get some results as quickly as possible, and get out of the bottom three," he told talkSPORT.

"There are 35 games left to go and, in some countries, that's a full season. Everyone is starting with a clean sheet."

Lennon's first match in charge is against Birmingham City on Saturday.
