How Borussia Dortmund could line up against Borussia Monchengladbach

Sports Mole looks at how Borussia Dortmund could line up in Saturday's Bundesliga clash with Borussia Monchengladbach.

Borussia Dortmund will need to beat Borussia Monchengladbach and then hope from a favour from Eintracht Frankfurt if the Black and Yellows are to win their first Bundesliga title since 2012.

Indeed, Bayern lead second-placed Dortmund by two points heading into the final weekend, while the reigning champions also have a significantly better goal difference, meaning that a draw against Frankfurt would be good enough to retain the crown.

Dortmund ensured that the title race would go into the final weekend when they recorded a 3-2 win over Fortuna Dusseldorf last weekend.

Lucien Favre's side have beaten Gladbach in their last seven Bundesliga meetings, meanwhile, and will therefore be full of confidence ahead of the clash at Borussia-Park on Saturday afternoon.

Here, Sports Mole looks at how the visitors could line up this weekend.

POSS DORT XI vs. MON

Out: Achraf Hakimi (foot), Dan-Axel Zagadou (knee), Marius Wolf (suspension)
Doubtful: Abdou Diallo (muscular)

Christian Pulisic - heading for Chelsea this summer - has two goals in his last two appearances and could be named in the starting XI in a move that would see Paco Alcacer start on the bench once again.

Jadon Sancho and Marco Reus are certainties to start in the final third, and if Pulisic does indeed make the side then Mario Gotze could take the spot at the tip of the attack.

Further back, there are not expected to be many surprises with Thomas Delaney and Axel Witsel again operating in front of Julian Weigl and Manuel Akanji.

French defender Abdou Diallo remains a doubt after missing the victory over Dusseldorf with a muscular problem, though, while Achraf Hakimi and Dan-Axel Zagadou are still on the sidelines through injury. The visitors will also be unable to call upon Marius Wolf, who is suspended.
