Borussia Monchengladbach's Filip Daems has come into the side's starting XI for the home clash against Hoffenheim, with regular left-back Oscar Wendt out injured.

Patrick Herrmann is passed fit to start on the wing, although Juan Arango does not start for the home side with Branimir Hrgota taking his place on the left.

The away side continue with Sven Schipplock up front, ahead of a very attacking midfield trio of Kevin Volland, Roberto Firmino and Kai Herdling.
