Hulk promises Brazil revival

Brazil forward Hulk insists that the national team will "keep working hard" to rectify their dismal exit at the World Cup.

Brazil forward Hulk has promised that the national team will work hard to erase the memories of their disastrous World Cup exit.

The hosts were thrashed 7-1 by Germany in the semi-finals before losing 3-0 to the Netherlands in the third-place playoff on Saturday night.

While admitting that he and his teammates are responsible for what happened at the tournament, Hulk is confident that the Selecao can get back to winning ways soon.

"To concede 10 goals in two games is inexplicable," he told FIFA.com. "We realise what has happened, but we're all people, well aware that we've made mistakes.

"We're going to keep working hard. The Selecao will get back to bringing joy to Brazilians once more."

The tournament concludes this evening (Sunday) with Argentina and Germany facing off in the final.
