Oscar: 'We must always respect Spain"

Brazil attacker Oscar says that Spain cannot be underestimated despite their 5-1 defeat to Netherlands in their World Cup opener.

Brazil attacker Oscar has insisted that Spain cannot be underestimated despite La Roja's 5-1 defeat to Netherlands in their World Cup opener on Friday.

The European and world champions were humbled by Louis van Gaal's side, but Oscar has claimed that Spain's challenge is far from over.

"We must always respect Spain. I don't see them at the end of a cycle," Oscar told AS.

"Spain had a chance in the first-half to kill the game and didn't. Then Holland played very well and deserved the victory."

Brazil could meet Spain in the first knockout round this summer.
