Brentford and Nottingham Forest are goalless at the interval of their Championship clash this afternoon.
It was the visitors that made the better start to proceedings at Griffin Park, with a couple of half-chances causing concern as James Tarkowski was forced to clear off his line following a scramble inside the box.
It was Tarkowski who then had Brentford's first real chance of the match, but his header was straight at on-loan Newcastle United goalkeeper Karl Darlow.
Brentford had another golden chance after 15 minutes, but Andre Gray was twice denied by David Vaughan, who threw his body on the line on both occasions.
Forest then came close through Jack Hobbs, whose header looked to be angling into the top corner, but David Button was on hand to make the save.
The play continued to flow from end to end as Alan Judge tested Darlow with a smart volley just before the 30-minute mark. Darlow was again called into action late in the half to deny Gray, before Jake Bidwell went close.
Forest had a wonderful chance to take the lead late in the first period, but Tyler Walker could not meet a low cross from Michail Antonio.
