Brentford duo extend Wycombe Wanderers loan spells

Brentford duo Sam Saunders and Nico Yennaris sign new loan deals with Wycombe Wanderers until the summer.

Brentford duo Sam Saunders and Nico Yennaris have extended their loan deals with Wycombe Wanderers until the end of the season.

The pair joined the League Two outfit at the end of last month.

Wycombe are currently in third place in the table thanks to a six-game unbeaten run.

"Sam and Nico have slotted in brilliantly, as we knew they would, and it's great to have them with us for the remainder of the season," manager Gareth Ainsworth told the club's official website.

"We see them as being an important part of a squad which is fully focused on winning promotion and I'd like to thank Brentford once again for allowing us to keep them."

Wycombe continue their bid for promotion on Tuesday night when they make the trip to sixth-placed Luton Town.
