Report: Jonathan Douglas free to leave Brentford

Brentford reportedly tell Jonathan Douglas that his services are no longer required at Griffin Park.

Brentford have reportedly informed Jonathan Douglas that he can leave the club this summer.

The midfielder, who only signed a new one-year contract five months ago, started all but two Championship matches last season.

However, following a dispute with the board at Griffin Park, Douglas has now been made available for transfer, according to Get West London.

The 33-year-old former Republic of Ireland international joined the Bees from Swindon Town back in 2011.
