Half-Time Report: Brighton & Hove Albion and Nottingham Forest tied at interval

Playoff hopefuls Brighton & Hove Albion and Nottingham Forest draw a blank at half time.

Playoff hopefuls Brighton & Hove Albion and Nottingham Forest go into half time tied at 0-0 in a close game at The AMEX.

Gus Poyet's side could have broken the deadlock in the eighth minute through Inigo Calderon, whose shot was kept out by visiting keeper Lee Camp.

Camp was the busier of the two shot-stoppers in the early stages, and he was called into action again in the 17th minute to keep out an effort from Billy Sharp.

Forest went on to dominate possession for the remainder of the opening period, but failed to create much of any note up front.

They almost fell behind against the run of play when Craig Mackail-Smith gave his marker the slip and tested Camp just after the half-hour mark, but the sides remain tied at the break.
