Manager Chris Hughton says that Brighton & Hove Albion must start to win more games at the Amex Stadium if they are to remain in the Premier League.

Manager Chris Hughton has called on Brighton & Hove Albion to improve their home form during the remainder of the season.

Brighton have lost just three games at the Amex Stadium this season, but only 15 points have been recorded from a dozen fixtures in front of their own supporters.

The Seagulls have claimed nine points on the road, but Hughton has pointed to Swansea City's recent success at the Liberty Stadium as reason why they cannot afford to keep dropping points at home.

The 59-year-old is quoted by BBC Sport as saying: "At home would probably be the disappointment that we haven't picked up more wins.

"We have just seen Swansea pick up two outstanding results at home [against Liverpool and Arsenal] that most people probably wouldn't have expected.

"Would they have been able to do that away from home? It would have been a lot harder. Home form will play the biggest part of this end of the season."

Brighton currently sit just one point ahead of the relegation zone in the top-flight standings.
