Steve Cotterill: 'I love watching us play'

Steve Cotterill says that it is a pleasure to watch the Robins when they are at the best as his side continue their domination of League One with a 3-0 win over Crewe Alexandra.

Bristol City manager Steve Cotterill has said that it is a joy to watch his side play after witnessing this evening's comfortable 3-0 win over Crewe Alexandra at Ashton Gate.

The result keeps the Robins on course for promotion from League One, and sends them into this weekend's Johnstone's Paint Trophy against Walsall with a win.

"I thought we were excellent. We deserved more than a point on Saturday and continued where we left off with our play," Cotterill is quoted as saying by the club's official Twitter account.

"We started brightly in the second half and that didn't allow them to do likewise. Any win would have done but 3-0 flatters them.

"I'll enjoy a good sleep tonight. I'm sure I'll enjoy Wembley but we'll talk about that in due course. I love watching them play football like they did tonight."

The result leaves Bristol City 11 points clear at the top of League One, with Preston North End in second.
