Burnley boss Sean Dyche says that interest in his players is nothing new and has declared himself "happy with the contract situation" of his key men.

Sean Dyche has admitted that he is expecting teams to show interest in his Burnley players during the winter transfer window, but is unfazed by the prospect of losing key men.

The Clarets have been the surprise package of the Premier League campaign to date, collecting 28 points from their first 16 games to find themselves in top-four contention.

Burnley's success comes despite losing Andre Gray and Michael Keane in the summer, while the likes of Danny Ings and Kieran Trippier have also been poached in the past.

Dyche is happy with the contract situation of each of his players, however, as he attempts to keep the core of his squad intact for the second half of the season.

"We've had interest in our players ever year, from Charlie Austin all the way through, so were used to it," he told reporters. "We're happy with the contract situation with our players and that's all you can do nowadays.

"It's a market and, when you think of some of the numbers this summer, there is no ceiling. So it's not realistic for me to sit here and say none of our players are going anywhere.

"Some teams can do that but we can't. But, as I said, the players are under contract, so we know where we are as a business. The fact they're getting looked at - if they are - is a sign of our success.

"That's part of what's been going on for the five seasons I've been here. We're not under pressure to make sales but the market is what it is."

Burnley welcome Stoke City to Turf Moor on Tuesday evening, seeking a ninth victory of a memorable Premier League campaign.
