Sean Dyche: 'Burnley are not broken'

Sean Dyche still has faith in his Burnley team to avoid relegation, insisting that they are not "dented" or "broken" following their 2-0 defeat to Southampton.

Burnley boss Sean Dyche still has full faith in his side to stay in the Premier League, despite losing to Southampton this afternoon.

The Lancashire club lost 2-0 at St Mary's Stadium after a strike from Shane Long and a Jason Shackell own goal.

"It was a tough game but it was a very good performance from us in the first half", Dyche told BBC Sport. "The second half, they were 1-0 up and got the second goal, it was hard work from there.

"It was poor finishing from us. That is where we have to realise this a different level of football. We move forwards again, we are not dented, we are not broken, we will be ready to go again."

Burnley are currently in 18th place in the table, one point behind Sunderland and safety.
