Burnley's David Jones upbeat on survival chances

Burnley midfielder David Jones says that the team will give everything they have got as they aim to stay in the Premier League.

Burnley midfielder David Jones has assured the supporters that they will give their all as they bid to stay in the Premier League.

The Clarets, who were promoted from the Championship last season, currently sit five points from safety at the bottom of the table after losing 1-0 at home to Leicester City on Saturday.

"We've got four massive games that we want to be positive for," Jones told the Lancashire Telegraph.

"There was disappointment [against Leicester] but we've got to get ourselves back up for Saturday's game. We can't let it keep us down. It's a test when disappointments happen but it's all about how you react.

"We've just got to get ourselves up to prepare for Saturday and for another big game. We knew [Leicester] was going to be a very big game for us and we knew the importance of it. It's a bad way to lose a game. It's just how you react to it."

Burnley face West Ham United and Hull City away before hosting Stoke City, and then travel to Aston Villa on the final day of the season.
