Burnley are reportedly close to signing Aston Villa defender Matthew Lowton.
The Championship side are in the market for a new right-back after selling Kieran Trippier to Tottenham Hotspur on Friday.
It is thought that the Clarets have identified Lowton as a replacement, with the 26-year-old having fallen out of favour at Villa Park last season.
According to Sky Sports News, Burnley have agreed a fee in the region of £1m for Lowton.
It is thought that the defender will sign a three-year deal at Turf Moor.
