Sports Mole previews Monday's Championship game between Cardiff City and Blackburn Rovers.

Cardiff City will be looking to bounce back from Saturday's defeat to Peterborough United on Monday when they host Blackburn Rovers.

The loss, coupled with Hull City's 1-0 away win against Huddersfield Town, saw the Bluebirds' lead at the top of the Championship slash to four points.

However, the defeat was City's first in four matches and Malky Mackay's side will be confident of getting the better of Blackburn at home.

Blackburn caretaker manager Gary Bowyer led the side to a 1-1 home draw with Blackpool on Friday in what was the team's first game since the sacking of manager Michael Appleton last week.

The draw saw Rovers go two points clear of the relegation zone and will help them head to Wales on Monday with some confidence.

Cardiff boss Mackay could recall Welsh striker Craig Bellamy to his lineup, while Bowyer has no fresh injury or suspension worries to contend with.
