Team News: Goalkeeper David Marshall out injured as Cardiff City host Charlton Athletic

Goalkeeper David Marshall is missing for Cardiff City against Charlton Athletic with a groin injury.

Cardiff City are without first-choice goalkeeper David Marshall for their home game with Charlton Athletic this afternoon.

Simon Moore replaces Marshall, who misses the clash with a groin injury.

Matthew Kennedy, Joe Ralls and Alex Revell also miss out for the Bluebirds, as manager Russell Slade makes four changes from the side that beat Rotherham United in midweek.

Kenwyne Jones starts up front, while Peter Whittingham and Craig Noone will hope to add creativity from midfield.

Charlton have also made four changes as Christophe Lepoint makes his debut, while Chris Solly, Roger Johnson and Johann Berg Gudmundsson return to the side.

Cardiff City: Moore, Peltier, Connolly, Ecuele Manga, Morrison, Whittingham, Gunnarsson, McAleny, Noone, Macheda, Jones.
Subs: Wilson, Fabio, Ralls, O'Keefe, Kennedy, Revell, Doyle.

Charlton Athletic: Henderson; Solly, Fox, Gomez, Johnson; Gudmundsson, Buyens, Cousins, Bulot; Lepoint, Watt.
Subs: Dmitrović, Bikey-Amougou, Eagles, Diarra, Vetokele, Church, Lennon.
