Ipswich Town striker David McGoldrick has allegedly reemerged as a transfer target for Cardiff City boss Neil Warnock.
Talks between the Bluebirds and the Tractor Boys, which reportedly began earlier this month, stalled after Cardiff expressed interest in Bournemouth forward Lewis Grabban.
Wales Online reports, however, that negotiations have resumed between Warnock and Town boss Mick McCarthy after talks with Grabban reached a standstill.
McGoldrick is in the final year of his contract at Portman Road, and Warnock is understood to be keen to sign the forward on a free transfer at the end of the season.
Should Cardiff be forced into bidding for the 30-year-old, the source says that between £500,000 and £1m should suffice for his signature.
