Luis Enrique pleased with three points

Celta Vigo boss Luis Enrique praises his side following Saturday's 1-0 win over Sevilla.

Celta Vigo boss Luis Enrique has praised his side following Saturday's 1-0 win over Sevilla.

The result moved Celta into 11th spot in the table, seven points clear of the drop zone with seven league games remaining.

"The analysis of the game is very positive because of the result, for the way we played and for the attitude of the team," he told reporters at a press conference.

"Sevilla came into this like we thought they would and tried to take advantage of every error we made in the build-up. They are a team with many weapons and dominate in the counter-attack.

"The match went back and forth between the two teams and in the second half we chose to counteract the bunching of players in the middle and tried to play with a lot more speed. For us it's a vital win because it gives a morale boost to the players and the fans."

Celta have won 10 of their 31 league games this season.
