Half-Time Report: Celtic cruising against Ross County

Celtic open up a 4-0 lead over Ross County in the first half of their Scottish Premiership match at Dingwall.

Celtic have opened up a 4-0 lead over Ross County in their Scottish Premiership match at Dingwall this afternoon.

The champions were ahead with just over 10 minutes gone when John Guidetti smashed the ball in from close range following an Anthony Stokes free kick.

Callum McGregor doubled their advantage just three minutes later after Guidetti turned provider by pulling the ball back for his young teammate, who was left with a simple finish.

Graham Carey tried to pull one back for the home side, but Craig Gordon punched the ball away for Celtic to keep them two goals up.

Ronny Deila's side continued to look the stronger of the two teams, and added a third just before the half-hour mark when Stokes curled the ball in from the edge of the box.

Guidetti came close to completing a brace, but Mark Brown's save set up Jason Denayer to smash in a fourth for the visitors.
