Scottish Premiership roundup: Celtic win late

Anthony Stokes helps Celtic win against Dundee United, while Inverness Caledonian Thistle remain at the top of Scottish Premiership.

For the third time in a week, Celtic scored in the dying minutes to secure a 1-0 victory over Dundee United at Tannadice.

Anthony Stokes earned the three points for the Hoops with an 86th-minute free kick, as they continue their unbeaten start to the Scottish Premiership.

Inverness Caledonian Thistle maintained their impressive run by beating Hearts 2-0 thanks to a Billy Mckay double, meaning that they are three points clear at the top of the league table.

Goals from Kallum Higginbotham and Ross Forbes in the last 10 minutes snatched three points for Partick Thistle against St Mirren.

The result sees Thistle jump to third in the league, while the Love Street outfit are second from bottom in the table without a win.

Hibernian are still without a home league win this campaign as they played out a goalless draw against Ross County.

St Johnstone were able to take a point from Pittodrie after drawing 0-0 with Aberdeen.

Results in full: Dundee Utd 0-1 Celtic, Aberdeen 0-0 St Johnstone, Hibernian 0-0 Ross County, Inverness CT 2-0 Hearts, St Mirren 1-2 Partick Thistle
