Report: Celtic chase Serbian striker Stefan Scepovic

Celtic are reportedly chasing Serbian striker Stefan Scepovic for a fee in the region of £2.5m.

Celtic are lining up a bid for Serbian striker Stefan Scepovic from Sporting Gijon for around £2.5m, according to reports.

The Scottish outfit are in a bidding war with both PSV Eindhoven and Werder Bremen as the clubs battle it out for the 24-year-old, according to the Daily Record.

The Hoops manager Ronny Deila told reporters: "We are looking for a bigger striker and he is one of the options. We are looking for a targetman who can be good with crosses."

The Serbian has scored 23 goals in 39 appearances for the Spanish club since arriving in 2013 from Partizan.
