New Charlton Athletic head coach Bob Peeters has said that he is likely to give the club's young players a chance to impress him next season.
The 40-year-old Belgian was announced as the new Addicks boss late last month and he has now given his first interview to the club website.
"I am very, very happy to be at a traditional club with good fans and a good academy," he said.
"I am a coach who likes to work with young guns. In Belgium I was a manager who let a lot of young players make their debut and I like to give people a chance to show they can do a job."
Peeters left his job with Belgian top-flight side Waasland-Beveren to join Charlton, who finished 18th in the Championship last season.
