Chelsea boss Guus Hiddink cautious over Eden Hazard return

Chelsea boss Guus Hiddink says that he will not rush Eden Hazard back into the team following a groin injury.

Chelsea interim manager Guus Hiddink has claimed that he will not rush Eden Hazard back into the fold following his recent groin injury.

The 69-year-old has not given an exact date for the Belgian's return, but has hinted that the playmaker could make his return after next Wednesday's Premier League game against West Bromwich Albion.

"Mid-week he will not make, I think, but we must be careful," Hiddink told reporters in Friday's press conference. "The player must not fall again after falling twice.

"This time he must take a little more time, he was fit to play but against Crystal Palace he had an unfortunate slip. We must make sure that he does not repeat his injury after another game."

Meanwhile, Hazard's father Thierry has insisted that his son is "completely focused" on Chelsea.
