Interim manager Guus Hiddink has reportedly decided to hand Patrick Bamford a place within the senior Chelsea squad.
The 22-year-old was loaned out for the season to Crystal Palace during the summer, but he cut short his stay at Selhurst Park last week because of a lack of playing time.
Since his return to Stamford Bridge there have been suggestions that the striker will be loaned out again before the end of the month, with Bournemouth said to be keen.
However, the Daily Mail has claimed that Bamford will instead be given the opportunity to impress in the first team by Hiddink.
It is believed that the England Under-21 international may be involved in the FA Cup tie against Scunthorpe United on Sunday.
