Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has said that it would be a "great addition" to the club if Didier Drogba were to return in a coaching capacity.
Interim manager Guus Hiddink has made no secret of his desire to bring the Ivorian back to Stamford Bridge as a member of his backroom staff, but the 37-year-old is currently contracted to MLS side Montreal Impact.
The Canadian outfit have revealed that they are "willing to accommodate" Drogba's Chelsea role, and Courtois believes that his presence would have a positive effect on the players.
"I had a very good relationship with him last year. He was great for the dressing room and our team," Courtois is quoted as saying by PA.
"If he comes back as a coach it will be a great addition to all the team."
Drogba scored 164 goals in 381 appearances over two spells with Chelsea, helping the club to four Premier League titles, four FA Cups, three League Cups and the Champions League.
