Thibaut Courtois back in Chelsea training ahead of first-team return

Thibaut Courtois takes part in Chelsea training for the first time in two months as part of his ongoing rehabilitation.

Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois is well on track for a December return after taking part in training on Thursday afternoon.

The Belgium international damaged his knee during a training session in early September and has been sidelined since.

Courtois targeted a return to first-team action before the year was out following a successful operation, and he has now handed under-pressure boss Jose Mourinho a big fitness boost by returning to the club's Cobham training complex.

Asmir Begovic has featured 16 times for Chelsea this term in Courtois's absence, keeping five clean sheets in all.
