Chelsea's Branislav Ivanovic: 'We have to show everyone we're back'

Branislav Ivanovic says that he and his Chelsea teammates need to show everyone that they are back to their best when they face Norwich City this weekend.

Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic has issued a rallying call in a bid to get the team's season back on track.

Jose Mourinho's side have lost seven Premier League games and won just three, which has left them 16th in the table, just six months after winning the title.

This weekend, the Blues will take on Norwich City at Stamford Bridge, welcoming back Mourinho, who served a one-match stadium ban prior to the international break.

"We have to show we are back," The Mirror quotes Ivanovic as saying. "It was a very difficult start to the season for all of us, now the team are playing better.

"We didn't react well after winning the League trophy last season. The only way to get out of this situation is to win, win and win again."

Chelsea are 15 points behind league leaders Manchester City and 13 adrift of the final Champions League spot.
