Team News: Chelsea make three changes for Stoke City, Ryan Shawcross returns from injury

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho makes three changes for his side's League Cup tie with Stoke City, as Oscar, Jon Obi Mikel and Baba Rahman return to the starting XI.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has made three changes from the side that was defeated 2-1 by West Ham United at the weekend for this evening's League Cup tie with Stoke City.

Oscar returns to the starting XI in place of Ramires, while Jon Obi Mikel comes in for the suspended Nemanja Matic.

Summer signing Baba Rahman replaces Cesar Azpilicueta at left-back, while Kurt Zouma continues at right-back.

Hosts Stoke City have made six changes from the side that lost 2-0 against Watford on Saturday, as Jonathan Walters replaces Joselu up front.

Mame Biram Diouf and Ibrahim Afellay come into the starting XI in place of Bojan and Xherdan Shaqiri, while Phil Bardsley and Marc Muniesa start at full-back.

Potters captain Ryan Shawcross will make his first start of the season this evening after recovering from back surgery.
