West Ham United manager Sam Allardyce has hit back at his Chelsea counterpart Jose Mourinho for claiming that his side played "football from the 19th century" on Wednesday.

After the goalless draw between the two teams in their Premier League clash at Stamford Bridge, the Portuguese criticised the Hammers' approach and said that the football they played did not merit a place in the Premier League.

"I don't give a shite, to be honest," The Mirror quotes Allardyce as saying.

"I love to see Chelsea players moaning at the referee, trying to intimidate him, Jose jumping up and down in his technical area. It's great to see.

"He can't take it can he. He can't take it because we've out-tacticed him, outwitted him. He just can't cope. He can tell me all he wants."

West Ham are currently third from bottom in the league table, while Chelsea are three points behind leaders Manchester City.
