Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas has hailed his side's "clinical" display after they defeated Bolton Wanderers 5-1.

A hat-trick from Frank Lampard, as well as a brace from former Bolton loanee Daniel Sturridge, helped the Blues romp to victory at the Reebok Stadium.

"You could stay here all day talking about the good things we did, finally we had a good game with clinical finishing," he told Sky Sports News.

"This is the sort of thing we are looking at as this is what we try for all our games.

"Everybody has been fantastic, we have been putting the effort in training and working hard and we knew it was would eventually happen for us."

The win has lifted the Stamford Bridge side into third place in the Premier League table, three points behind leaders Manchester United.
