Chelsea manager Rafael Benitez believes that he can use his experience to get his ideas across to owner Roman Abramovich.

Chelsea manager Rafael Benitez has revealed that he found owner Roman Abramovich to be "nice" after they met for the first time on Thursday.

The 52-year-old had admitted at his unveiling on Thursday that he had not met his new boss.

However, after meeting with Abramovich following his opening press conference, Benitez believes that he will have a good working relationship with the Russian billionaire.

Benitez told reporters: "Twenty-six years in charge and I can guarantee I've had a lot of different owners, presidents and chairmen.

"If you have confidence in yourself and explain yourself, everyone can understand.

"My impression of him is that he's a nice person. You can talk with him."

Benitez will take charge of his first match when Chelsea play Manchester City on Sunday.
