New Chelsea boss Rafael Benitez says that he has faith in striker Fernando Torres.

Chelsea's new manager Rafael Benitez has backed Fernando Torres to recapture his goalscoring form.

The Spanish striker has been inconsistent since joining the Blues from Liverpool last year, but his compatriot believes that he is still a top class player.

"Torres knows the Premier League and he was doing really well with that. It's a question of confidence and he will do well again. He will come back," Benitez told talkSPORT.

Benitez was unveiled as Roberto Di Matteo's successor in the Chelsea hotseat earlier today after the Italian was sacked following a run of consecutive defeats.
