Rafael Benitez is only thinking of the next game as he takes over from Roberto Di Matteo.

New Chelsea interim manager Rafael Benitez has urged fans to take just "one game at a time" as he looks to improve on the club's recent fortunes.

Benitez has been installed to replace the sacked Roberto Di Matteo and the Spaniard has said that he hopes to challenge for trophies during his stay.

"Chelsea are a top side and I want to challenge for trophies," Benitez told Sky Sports News.

"We'll think about one game at a time and try to win the next game. The fans always want the manager to win game, so we'll try to do this."

Chelsea are currently third in the Premier League.
