Mark Clattenburg will make his return to the Premier League on Sunday following the FA's decision to not take action over claims the referee used "inappropriate language" towards John Obi Mikel.

Mark Clattenburg has been given permission to return to officiating this weekend after he was cleared of using inappropriate language towards John Obi Mikel.

The Football Association decided against taking action against the 37-year-old following claims made by Chelsea after the defeat to Manchester United earlier this month.

Clattenburg will return to the Premier League on Sunday when he will be fourth official for Tottenham Hotspur's clash with West Ham United.

Wednesday's meeting between Southampton and Norwich will see Clattenburg begin duties as a referee for the first time since the investigation.
