David Luiz is confident that Fernando Torres can find his form at Chelsea despite being under pressure to score.

Chelsea defender David Luiz believes that Fernando Torres will score plenty of goals for the Blues this season despite being under continuous pressure to perform.

The 27-year-old, who provided both assists for Chelsea’s 2-0 win over Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League, has one competitive goal to his name since joining Chelsea from Liverpool in January.

Despite the Spaniard’s drought in front of goal, his Brazilian teammate is adamant that the striker will find his form this season.

“The people here are always speaking for Fernando, saying come on, it’s a lot of pressure for one guy,” Luiz told talkSPORT.

“Torres is a good guy and good person. I know Fernando this season will score many, many goals.”

Chelsea go head to head with Premier League title holders Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday.
