Roberto Di Matteo admits he could leave England

Roberto Di Matteo admits that he could leave England if he does not get the Chelsea job permanently.

Roberto Di Matteo has admitted that he could quit England at the end the season if he does not get the Chelsea manager's job.

Rumours have suggested that Blues owner Roman Abramovich is hoping to lure outgoing Barcelona boss Pep Guardiola to Stamford Bridge.

However, should the former Italy midfielder deliver the Champions League trophy against Bayern Munich next Saturday, he could be given the job on a permanent basis. Despite this, Di Matteo has openly admitted that he would be prepared to broaden his horizons and move abroad.

"Fortunately, I speak three languages, so I'm quite open-minded," said the former Chelsea player.

"But I've been in England for a long, long time. My family is here with me. We quite like it here in England."

Di Matteo's side face Blackburn Rovers in the final game of the season today.
