Hull City interim manager Mike Phelan has hinted that his side might have been slightly more sensible in their approach after suffering a 2-0 defeat at home to Chelsea in the Premier League.
Phelan's men had managed to hold Chelsea to a goalless first half, but the Blues took control in the second period as they went on to claim a comfortable victory.
"We were quite pleased we created a few issues for them in the first half, but we expect a team like Chelsea to ramp up the pressure a little bit," said Phelan, according to BBC Sport.
"It has been difficult to get forward but we're not playing Mickey Mouse teams here. We have to be sensible with our approach and can't just be open against these teams."
The Tigers currently sit in 15th place in the standings with seven points from seven games.
