Willian: 'Antonio Conte advice paid off following win over Hull City'

Chelsea winger Willian reveals that Antonio Conte's half-time tactical advice helped to ensure that they claimed a 2-0 victory over Hull City in the Premier League.

Chelsea winger Willian has revealed that Antonio Conte's half-time tactical advice was integral to the club's 2-0 victory over Hull City.

The Blues found themselves level with the Tigers at the break, but Conte's insistence on implementing a continued press led to an upturn in fortunes for the visitors as they went on to secure all three points at the KCOM Stadium.

"In the second half we were more concentrated on our final pass and we scored two goals, so congratulations to everyone and now we must keep going," Willian told the club's official website.

"At half time the manager told us to continue to press high up the pitch and we did it well.

"We have to stay positive. The season has only just started and there are so many games left to play. Now we have to continue in the same way in our games to come."

Chelsea currently hold seventh spot in the league standings.
