Preview: Newcastle United vs. Chelsea

Sports Mole previews the Premier League match between Newcastle United and Chelsea.

Chelsea head to St James' Park on Saturday attempting to move to the top of the Premier League table.

The lunchtime kickoff gives the Blues the opportunity to overtake leaders Arsenal, and Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho will be confident of sealing their seventh win in a row.

The Portuguese coach made 10 changes for the Capital One Cup match with Arsenal, but he is expected to revert to the lineup that began last Sunday's win over Manchester City.

Newcastle have endured a turbulent few days after suffering defeat to local rivals Sunderland and being dumped out of the League Cup by Manchester City.

Despite sitting in 11th position in the table, manager Alan Pardew is under pressure to produce results on Tyneside, and defeat here could see them plummet towards the relegation zone by the end of the weekend.

Pardew is expected to hand a Premier League recall to Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa after he missed the derby loss at the Stadium of Light.
