Bruce Arena has said that Los Angeles Galaxy are not ruling out a move for Frank Lampard.
The Major League Soccer champions have a place available in their squad for a "designated player" following David Beckham's departure, and the Chelsea midfielder has been linked to the club.
The Galaxy coach told Sky Sports News: "I wouldn't be surprised if over the next week or so we're going to have some sort of decision with a designated player.
"We wouldn't rule a move for Lampard out. It's always a possibility."
The 34-year-old is coming towards the end of his contract with Chelsea, and has not been offered an extension.
