Asmir Begovic considering Chelsea exit?

A report claims that Asmir Begovic is growing increasingly frustrated by a lack of match action, which may force him to leave Chelsea in the summer.

Goalkeeper Asmir Begovic has reportedly decided that his long-term future may be away from Chelsea.

The 28-year-old joined the Blues from Stoke City in the summer and he has gone on to make 20 appearances in all competitions.

However, the majority of those outings came during a period in which Thibaut Courtois was sidelined through injury, with the Belgian the undisputed number one keeper at Stamford Bridge when fit.

According to The Sun, Bosnia international Begovic has grown frustrated at playing second fiddle and he will consequently consider his options at the end of the season.

The report adds that Begovic was particularly disappointed to have not featured during the 5-1 win over the MK Dons in the FA Cup last weekend.
