Chelsea will reportedly look to cash in on Andre Schurrle in the next 24 hours in order to push through a move for Juan Cuadrado.
The 26-year-old German international has been heavily linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge this month having fallen largely out of favour under Jose Mourinho, with Borussia Dortmund the side rumoured to be leading the race to land his signature.
It has also been widely reported that the Blues are interested in landing Fiorentina winger Cuadrado, who is said to be available for a fee of £26.8m.
The Daily Mail claims that both deals could now be pushed through ahead of this weekend following a day of heavy talks.
Should that be the case Cuadrado, who has scored 21 goals in 82 appearances for Fiorentina, could feature in the top-of-the-table battle against Manchester City on Saturday evening.
However, Chelsea are first waiting for Schurrle's exit from the club to be confirmed before wrapping up their swoop for the Colombian, which could see the transfer go right down to the wire.
