Inter Milan forward Mauro Icardi has reportedly emerged as a potential transfer target for Chelsea.
Icardi is currently in his sixth campaign at San Siro, with a total of 117 goals being scored from 200 appearances in all competitions.
Inter are keen to keep the Argentine, but it has been suggested that the two parties are currently yet to agree terms over a fresh contract.
According to The Mirror, that has led to Chelsea keeping a watchful eye on any developments with the Blues keen to make changes in the final third.
The long-term futures of both Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud remain uncertain, and Chelsea may need to find two replacements ahead of next season.
Icardi has two-and-a-half years remaining on his current deal, although interested clubs are able to activate a £100m release clause.
