Inter Milan are reportedly interested in signing Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos.
Inter are currently 14 points adrift of Serie A leaders Juventus, while they failed to make the knockout round of this season's Champions League.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Inter boss Luciano Spalletti will be given funds to improve the squad in January and Los Blancos midfielder Kroos has emerged as a target.
The report claims that Inter feel that the Germany international would be the perfect midfielder to provide leading scorer Mauro Icardi with 'world-class service'.
Kroos has made over 200 appearances for Madrid since a 2014 move from Bayern Munich, winning one La Liga title and three Champions League crowns during his time in the Spanish capital.
The 28-year-old's form has been called into question this season, however, and it is thought that the German could be available for the right price.
