Chelsea have reportedly made a deadline-day move for Marseille striker Loic Remy.
The France international had been heavily linked with a move to fellow London club Tottenham Hotspur but the 25-year-old revealed last night that talks had "come to nothing".
He said: "Yes there were discussions with Tottenham, but they came to nothing and they will not continue."
According to The Mirror, European champions Chelsea are willing to meet Marseille's £15.8m valuation as they search for a frontman who can challenge Fernando Torres for a place in Roberto Di Matteo's XI.
