Marko Marin praises Sevilla coach Unai Emery

Marko Marin, who is currently on loan at Sevilla from Chelsea, praises the Spanish club's head coach Unai Emery.

German midfielder Marko Marin has praised Sevilla coach Unai Emery for his approach this season.

The 24-year-old, who joined the Spanish club on loan from Chelsea in the summer, has also revealed that the head coach "was one of the reasons" why he decided to move to the La Liga outfit.

"From the very first day I found that the atmosphere around the team was very good," he told SFC. "There is a young team here with a lot of new players. We could have got a few more points in our first few games, but we have started playing the way the coach wants.

"I am happy to be working under Unai Emery. Over these two months I have understood the philosophy he wants to inject into this team.

"He is a great coach and brings his players a lot of confidence. He was one the reasons I came to Sevilla."

Sevilla currently sit 15th in the Spanish top flight.
