Paris Saint-Germain 'plotting Branislav Ivanovic swoop'

Branislav Ivanovic reportedly emerges as a £15m target for Paris Saint-Germain.

Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly lining up a £15m summer move for Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic.

Les Parisiens knocked the Blues out of the Champions League on Wednesday after coming from behind twice to draw at Stamford Bridge, winning the tie on away goals.

According to The Express, PSG are keen to add insult to injury by luring away Ivanovic from the Premier League leaders at the end of the season.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho is said to be pushing the board to improve the terms of the Serbian defender's contract, which has just over a year left to run.

However, PSG are believed to be keeping tabs on Ivanovic's situation with the West London outfit and are prepared to move for the player if the opportunity arises.

Ivanovic has scored 31 times since joining Chelsea from Lokomotiv Moscow in January 2008.
