Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho wants to link up with former player Wesley Sneijder by signing the 29-year-old from Galatasaray this summer, according to a report.

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is reportedly lining up a move for Galatasaray midfielder Wesley Sneijder.

The Portuguese has requested that Blues owner Roman Abramovich funds the move for the Netherlands international, who he won the Champions League in 2010 with when the duo were at Inter Milan.

A source told The People: "Mourinho has asked Abramovich to get him Sneijder."

The Dutchman joined Galatasaray in January in a £6.5m move from Inter Milan.
