Tottenham Hotspur line up Romelu Lukaku bid?

Tottenham Hotspur reportedly line up a summer swoop for Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku.

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly preparing a summer swoop for Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku.

The Belgium international is currently on a season-long loan deal at Everton, where he has impressed by scoring 11 times in the Premier League.

The Toffees are thought to be interested in making his short-term stay permanent, but are unlikely to be able fork out in excess of £20m to land the striker.

However, Spurs are keen on the former Anderlecht youngster, and have placed him towards the top of their summer shortlist, according to The Telegraph.

Lukaku signed for Chelsea for £17m in 2011, but was loaned out to West Bromwich Albion last season after finding game time limited at Stamford Bridge.
